September is here and fall is in the air! Sonoma wine country is a buzz with celebratory energy from the start of harvest and we're ready to toast all things good this month.

Come and see us on Labor Day for some bubbles and bites. This Monday, September 2nd, we'll be open from 12-8 pm and ready to make your long weekend extra special. We've got Maison Porcella pâtés back on the menu and caviar flights for the ultimate, multi-sensory experience.
Three Blind Bubbles
September marks another new blind flight on the menu. This month, we're featuring Zero Dosage Champagne. You'll get a 2 oz. pour of each: Canard-Duchêne Blanc De Noir, Pierre Gimonnet Blanc De Blanc, and Prestige Des Sacres Brut Nature. Discover which you prefer and test your skills to see if you can determine which is which.
What is "dosage" you ask? Using the méthode traditionelle (the “traditional method”), dosage is the final touch added to the bottle right after disgorgement and before bottling. It is a mixture of cane sugar dissolved in wine to create a sweet wine, although some Champagne houses also add Cognac or other spirit, that is added in very small amounts (think eyedropper) to determine how sweet the final product is.
Zero dosage sparkling wines have a profile marked by lively acidity, straightforward character, and a very pure style.
